Hanna HI 755 alk tester

Anyone else have any issues with their alk tester killing batteries? I put the original one in and it was dead when i tried to use it 7 days later. So i tried a new battery and it was dead the next day. Im guessing Hanna warrantees them but i dont know how to go about sending it in? Id prefer to exchange it at a LFS and let them warrantee it but at this point i just want it working.

Let me know your experiences if youve warranteed your tester. My ULR phosphate tester has 0 issues.
 
Yeah ive had my phosphate for a few months and nothing, just bought the alk tester and i cant keep batteries overnight
 
Ok, hanna as a company is fantastic. Not just the products, but the employees and service. Emailed them through their site to get tech help. They sent me an addy and service number to send my tester in. Through out the entire process they kept me up to date. Turns out i had a broke resistor so they replaced the entire thing, plus all pertinent equipment. In total, it was about a week turn around and a very easy transaction. Cant say enough about the company. I will definitely be buying more hanna testers very soon and i high suggest them to anyone.
