Harlequin Tusk

Anyone have a harlequin tusk in a an acrylic tank? I have a red sea sailfin, regal tang, naso tang, and an emporer angel in a 125 acrylic fowlr. I would like to add one more fish and came across a really nice looking harlequin tusk that I'd like to add for my last fish. Tank is running great and all of the fish get along very well. Would an HT be ok? Also has anyone kept one in an acrylic tank? I've heard that they can scratch up acrylic with their tusks pretty badly but 2 reputable lfs have told me not to worry. Thanks!

I have one in reef and fowlr they not acrylic but the tusk dont go at the glass at all like puffers imo they be fine . Oh yea tusk look mean but r sissys and get picked on alot for first week thank god the fast

HT should be one of the first fish in a tank because they are very passive. It will likely be okay depending on its size compared to the other fish but you may not see it very much if it is afraid to come out. The Imperator can be a bully, that's the one I'd be concerned with.

Great thanks for the replies. The emperor is just a 4 inch juvenile and is the most passive in the tank for now. My sailfin is definitely the meanest. Still considering it because I've been told that my tank is already fully stocked.

I'm gonna go ahead and Tang Police you, the HT would be the first minimum appropriate fish in your tank.
