So has anyone every kept one of these alive or is it one of those impossible fish. Ive tried a few and at 50$ a pop it sucks when they die after a week. Just wondering if it was just me that kills em or does everyone. Really want to try again

they are hard to train to prepared foods.

Unless you work for a public aquarium, don't do it. Even after I got mine to eat, he still died. Let the store that got them in take a loss and a lesson for bringing them in.

Yea i had both the hawaiians never lasted more then week. The regular i had 2 yrs then i moved and was in cooler i didnt c i jump out oops.

I had one for a lil while then boom disappeared. No body no thing . Possible a nem got him ate frozen flakes pellets too sucked

mine died as well. no matter what I tried he just did not make it.

Why they gotta be so cool looking. Well i guess i wont try again not hard to resist with the high price tag and zero survival rate

Charlie with Aquarium Obsessions (Peoria Area) has one in his 500g display, he said he has had it for quite sometime. They are kick a$$ looking little guys.
