Help! Flame Angel missing flesh

Stress can trigger anything in fish...
Good reason when transferring or homing. To keep the lights off.
Unless its an from an established tank from a reefer. They can handle it.

Sucks.
 
I left 2 of the 4 actinics on on opposite sides of the MH so he could learn the layout without knocking into anything. I flipped on the MH just to grab pictures. The fixtures has 8 led moonlights but they don't do squat for any visibility. Usually do that when adding fish to this tank or my 15. Will do that for a week then increase 1 hr per day for 7 days. Same for corals except in half hour increments every 8 hours for two weeks.
 
Looks like for HITH, if suspected, obviously pull em, dose with metfix, low lights, garlic based food or coated in garlic to entice eating and pvc tubes only to limit self inflicted damage. Calkibg the ends of the pvc or rounding it off is suggested. After that, cross your fingers and hope for the best. All of that from the 73 forums, clips, and articles I could find.
