dont think 48 would keep the higher light demanding critters, prolly more like 72. but im not gus....

you will still need heat sinks , some fans and some kind of controler. ask gus but he probably will prefer his units !!! i did my diy and im loving them 52 3 crees over 60 cube

Im running DIY 70 LEDs (Rapid LED) on mine full spectrum 2 cyan/ 2 green/ 2UV the rest CW/NW/RB RKL set to 43 on the white and 70 on the RB (still dialing it in though) Mixed Reef. Im thinking of changing some out for Blue and Turquoise for coral color pop.
