So either this thing is actually an SPS or something isnt right. First time owning a duncan.
Its usually extended further than this, double sometimes. I've tried moving it up closer to the light, roughly where my frogspawn started bleaching (halfway up the tank, right under a hydra26 hd) and it still extends like this!
It's a beautiful coral, purple with a green mouth. Would love to see it healthy, because this does not look healthy to me.
