i hear some bad and some good, anyone with experience? ill only be using a brs shorty reactor and both others will be feeding 2 6 g tanks. Heres a pic of the process. Any criticism welcomed! View attachment 21341
I had a manifold on one of my systems.
I ended up tearing it down
The detrious would clump where the exits ended up.
I much rather would have all the drain detrious go into a drain spot where it can acumulate for easy shiphon or into a sock.
One of the manifolds was to a gravity fed ats wich worked great but it also made the mesh clump up in detrious.
Main issue will be the detrious for me.
Why not the manifold on a better supply pump? That would be my suggestion.
Agreed, place the manifold on the return line and have a valve for each outlet so you can adjust flow accordingly. Placing a manifold on your drain is just asking for trouble.
i think i typed that up wrong, there will definitely not be a manifold on my drain. It would go on my return that feeds eater back to tank and would also feed 2 other small tanks and a reactor.
