HI, New to the sight

Hello, I was in the hobby a few years back and moved to Chicago and left everything I had to the new owners. I recently acquired a 95 gallon reef that had been up and running for several years a few months ago. I live in the NW burbs, McHenry County area. Been reading like a crazy trying to catch up with everything. Was recommended here from the person I bought the tank from who was just deployed. I would love to connect with someone who may want to come out and help me identify everything I have> I'd be willing to frag, etc. some things for the help. I been studying things but a little overwhelmed on the identification and proper placement of items. I have some stuff that was dead when I got it and it looks back alive, but not sure! LOL It took me forever to find out that I had Blue Snowflake Polyps this week starting to cover my LR. Thought it was a bad algae or something LOL. Anyway, I reached out to a person on the forums and in under a few minutes they identified it and answered my questions, in which took me over two weeks and I couldn’t match anything up. I learned quickly (yesterday) how important these forums are! Look forward to meeting some of you and finding some help to at least confirm I’m on the right track with everything!  Thanks! Todd
 
welcome!!! pics will def help us help you. post pics of your filtration lights display, everything n anything you have any questions about. there are no stupid questions

Post some pics of your coral and I'm sure someone on here will be able to identify them for you. Did you get rid of the blue snowflakes? **** things are all over the place in my tank!!

I hear that mine spreading like crazy. I'm gonna aphasia x it wait 20 min. And scrub with toothbrush. I will see if that works. I'l take some pics. Thx!
