What test kit are you using?Yeah I plan on testing again tomorrow anyway just couldn't today because of work. I posted my main concern in my build thread about my ammonia being at 1 and no nitrites but I'll be testing that again also

Been planning on it just have not gotten around to itMy suggestion is to buy a decent test kit like a Salifert and stop having LFS's test for you.
If you only own 1 test kit, it should be Alk...imo
Hoping it was just really inaccurate. I'll be getting some test kits from the brs GB on tuesday. For now I'm going to retest everything in the morning and decide what to do from there.Yep. What he said. Alk is really the only parameter I worry about. Keep alk steady, and it's likely your other parameters are good to go. Obviously this is a simplistic view, but this is how I operate.
Didn't test with mine yet I will be in the morning.I have both Api and salifert alk test kits. They always gave me the same results. So does your API alk test kit match the test results from the LFS?
