I need tips for a Predator Tank equipment

I would highly suggest getting a biopellet reactor going once the cycle is over. It's efficiency will increase as your bioload does. I'm also running gfo. It is my personal opinion that going with biopellets and gfo is easier and more effective than setting up a fuge, but this is a personal preference. I started cycling my 75 fowlr in mid-October and started stocking it in early NOV.

I have 19 inches of fish and feed 3-5 times per day....
I've been keeping an eye on my nitrates and phosphates ever since I started stocking the tank. As of last night, my trates are at 10ppm and my phates are at 0.01ppm (courtesy of my new Hanna Checker xmas present )

I have not done a single water change on this tank in the 2 months since the cycle has ended and as far as I'm concerned, I'm happy with these param's for a fowlr. In fact, they're better than some reef tanks, LOL!

As previously mentioned, high flow is very important for nutrient export. I have a lot of flow in my tank so very little settles on the substrate. I will eventually do a wc to vacuum the substrate but right now I'm "experimenting" to see how long I can go before the param's start to rise.

As far as UV goes, it certainly does not do any harm in a fowlr and has a positive effect on water clarity. My advice is that you do some research on them and see if it's right for you. I think too many people have a false sense of security using UV and its ability to kill parasites. It is not a replacement for quarantining but will kill free-floating parasites, if they make it into the filter. (It obviously can't do a darn thing to kill parasites on a fish.) I had a 9W Submariner UV laying around so I put it in my sump. I like the way they are self-contained and don't require additional plumbing. Although, for a 180G, you would probably want to look into something more robust.

I would recommend a speargun just I case you want to go diving with the fish. They are aggressive right? Oh.... Monster skimmer. I'd get one for a 220 if you can plan on it.
