In my last reef tank, my clownfish killed my duncan, from pestering it too much. I'd try a fuzzy mushroom for your clown.

i had a clown that hosted in a bubble coral, and ended up hurting it more then helping.

One of my clowns decided that my protein skimmer looked like a nice place to live either that or he was trying to pull a Nemo. Either way, he is now one dead fishy. My husband warned me not to name them. The female is still alive though.

Mine love my powerhead, and i think they get a little too close because every once ina while, they have chunks out of fins for a while.
