Instant ocean hydrometer vs refractometers

Which one should I use now, I just switched the instant ocean hydrometer to the refractometer from BRS , the salinity is so different with the instant ocean was 1.025 but with the hydrometer is 1.022 ( same water .)

New hydrometers are prone to give false high readings. Old hydrometers are prone to give false low readings.

Properly calibrated seawater refractometers are accurate within 2% meaning your specific gravity could be anywhere from 1.020 to 1.024. Accuracy is dependent on magnesium levels. Refractometers are most accurate at 1280ppm.

For use in measuring reef aquarium water you should always use a refractometer meant for seawater like BRS's and calibrate with the solution given never RO water.

I recall a couple years ago when I used a hydrometer. I went Reefwise and Brian tested my water with his refractometer. Iwas way off. Get a refractometer. It's even faster to tested, less false measurements.
 
I think that as long as you pick one and stick to it everything will be all good
