I'm pretty happy with the way mine turned out... allows for a LOT of room in the sand, but also equally as much room for corals........ I did a good base, and then stacked sexy live rock on it.. worked out well!
Go nuts though, because the most important thing is not what people care about your scape, it's all about YOU!! What do you want to look at.. some go crazy and un-natural, but as long as you like it, who cares. It's your tank. Go as wild as you want.
