Jaebo RW wave makers

I got 2 Rw15 in my 120 gallon...they run almosts 2 years with no problem..I do clean up every 3-4 weeks in vinegar and hot water those...

Also welcome to CR...

I use 1 rw8 in my setup with the power level being less than half. It is a very powerful pump. I've only had mine for about 6 months or so and haven't had any problems. And since i only have 1 I wouldn't be able to say anything about the wireless feature where they operate with each other. I think you will be good using 2 rw8's in your setup

I've got 2 rw4s in my 30 running 100% and 1 rw8 and rw15 in my 93 also running 100%. They are great pumps and all of mine are sync together

Yeah, in two years I've never done any maintenance in my protein skimmer. Just learned the art of vinegar maintenance today!

Can you explain your cleaning process? How long do you soak them? What is ratio of vinegar to water? Do you use salt water ?

I use the about 50/50 I use like a small Tupperware prob like 1/2 gal. Let them soak 15 min the let it run 5 then brush what's left off with tooth brush. Them toss back in

I put a cup of Vin to 1 gallon hot (not really hot) tap water cantainer then leave the pumps in there for 15 minutes. Open them up and brush all (include the impellar and the hole) with toothbrush make sure take all green or brown algae as much as I can. Clean up with dry tower then put back into the tank..

People dosing carbon (vinegar) into their reef so I think ok if some vinegar still there. I am dosing vinegar both my SPS and Softie tanks.
