jebao dual controller

So.. I bought this :http://www.fish-street.com/jebao_twins_linkage_controller?category_id=126 ( 35.00 ) 30.00 S & H
and this :http://joejaworski.com/jebao/ 79.00
And I thought I would post a lil opinion/comparison
The one from fish street, arrived 4 days after tracking info was received, not bad coming all the way from China .
Initial impression on quality, just like the other controllers , sorta cheap & flimsy. Although the single power supply to run 2 pumps is a nice feature, the power supply needs to be upgraded, another 15 bux . Installation was as easy as the other controllers, plug in, tighten & connect power.( I set power supply to highest setting )
Usage was pretty easy ,although the instructions need to be read backwards, it wasn't difficult in figuring out .
Issues were w/ night time mode, after running in night time mode for approx 10 min my pumps would stop. I thought it was because they needed to be cleaned, disassembled them, cleaned & reassembled, same deal pumps stop after 10 min.( tried diff out put voltages on the power supply, same result w/ all settings)
I'm currently working on resolving the matter ( refund/exchange) w Eric , I'll post updates on the resolution .
The controller I received from Joe arrived 2 days after I ordered it, pretty good IMo.
Initial impression, basic black box, a lil more of a solid feel( weight) to it ,it came w/ a 10ft usb cable & instructions to download user manual/drivers.
Usage was a lil more involved than pressing buttons & turning knobs, but only took 10 min to dial my preferences in & have a nice wave simulation going in my 75 ( BTW I'm using 2 wp25's for the test comparison)
Overall I would say go w/ the one from Joe, although having 1 power supply for 2 pumps is nice, the overall quality & control is a bit better IMO& buyiing state side has it's benefits.
I hope this helps anyone looking to run 1 controller w/ 2 wp's
Robert
