Jebao WP25 very weak

I recently picked this up from another reefer and they only had it for a couple months. I've had it for about a month now and it was working great until yesterday. Now it seems like it is very week, I barely makes waves on the surface now. I took it out and let it run in a vinegar bath for about 5 hours and it went back to full speed in the bucket it was in. I put it back in the tank and after about an hour it went back to being weak. Any ideas on how to fix this?
 
You need to clean those pumps often (every 2 months) or they lose power. Clean it and it should be fine.
 
I didn't take it apart, I'm gonna take it apart tonight and see how it works. I had 2 WP10s for almost a year without ever having to take them apart so I didn't even think to do that

Take it apart and hit it with a tooth brush. I have my 2 original pumps for when they first hit the scene. I have to hit with brush or get that issue monthly.
 
I had the same problem. I took the pump apart. If I remember correctly... the ceramic piece was almost totally fused to the plastic rod that goes through the magnet, giving it a lot of friction. I broke the seal and the pump is running like new again.
 
The small Jebao sucks. they need more maintenance because they do tend to weaken. The bigger pumps work much better.
 
Well, I've had three completely stop working but given the bang for the buck, I still continue to buy them. The RWs seem much better than the WPs.
