Well the 6g didn't last me very long cause i realized i could get an AIO tank for cheaper then it would have been to make 1 so heres my new tank lol.

Tank: 8G Evolve AIO
Lighting: DIY Led fixture w/ custom hanger
Heating: 25w Jager
Filtration: ?? Couple lbs of rock and im' going to add some more. 2.5lbs of sand & dunno need opinions on what to put in rear chambers. May put some chaeto and add a fuge light.
Stock: ?? Zoas and probably sea horses

Picture time! Obviously the lighting isn't completly done yet i just finished wiring them up and trying them out. Need atleast 1 more blue led (if anyone has one let know)

I'm new to the whole nano/pico thing so any suggestions are encouraged lol

Shark tank! Jk

I'd build my rockwork like a thin tree going across. Touching both sides of glass with enough room for growth. Maybe glued pieces of Tonga and place lil frags of zoas. Make the rock so u can pull it out anytime and glue frags down. The lighting is really close to the coral. It might be stronger than you think. Ive reading allot about uv leds and they are pretty beneficial. They almost hit the mark for spectrum requirements. Better color for the most part. Id also clump the leds closer together for better mixing. What driver are you using? ma?

The key to nanos is really understanding how much your feeding and to not slack on water changes. Not saying you do, but that algae comes quick in a nano.

No large snails and uh...

Or you could go Yuma, ric, or nem(if you dare ;) tank.

I was hoping u would post lol.

The light on there is the stock light. I haven't built the goose neck yet for the diy fixture. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm using a dimmable meanwell. I haven't gotten to mess with adjusting it yet. I was just soldering and figuring out lay out.

What should i run In the rear chamber for filtration?

Recommendations for cuc?

Ill get ya a few stomatella snails. Mine have recently started breeding. Tiger hermits are smaller and seem to be more graceful. Ceriths are good, but they can be big and clumsy.

Finished my stand and hanging bracket. Actually came out really nice. GF approved lol

Really like the color of the set-up but still think i need another blue. Put a sponge from my 75 into the tank and tossed in my chromis to get this thing started.

Got the pot installed in the back of the stand so it can be adjusted from the front.

Free chromis in a few weeks from this tank!

It's been 2 days and my seahorse is still alive and happy! It's starting to turn from black with white stripes to yellow with black stripes. I've watched it eat both days.

Picked up some chemipure elite and puragin so i'll see how it goes with those. They are both new to me.
