Jump safe fish?

which fish are "non jumpers" as opposed to fish like some wrasse and gobies which jump out of tanks.

do bangai cardinals ever leap out?

Just cover your tank and you can get whatever fish you want.
I've always ran an open top tank and only had 1 anthias cement surf on me.

One time I had my nephews over and they were tapping the glass on my tank. After they left I couldn't find my male percula. A few weeks later I was taking a bag of old text books to sell to the bookstore. I looked inside and there was a perfectly dessicated clown. He looked like a bookmark! Lol

Another time the female from that pair jumped and my wife found her dry and limp on the carpet. She called me at work and I told her to throw her back in. 20 mins later when I got home the fish was fine. As if nothing happened.

All fish will jump. Just put netting over the tank.

I was going to respond with all fish can jump but I think you are right. I cant imagine my mandarin jumping out.

I heard of a friends mandarin that jumped out.. Just best to put a mesh screen if u want to be perfectly sure

Lawnmower blenny? I can't imagine mine ever being that startled. He sits on the vegi mag when I move it to feed nori.

Lionfish and snowflake eel (how he got out is a miracle), both jumped, eel actually survived, it was crazy. Currently I have a pink/blue spot goby, 2 clowns and coral beauty, none have every thought about the jump, even when I feed them on my rimless. Agree with puffer though that any fish can jump if it really wants to.
