Just a warning to any users: heavy metal contamination.
They used coal to make the carbon and it had copper in it. Alot of users lost all their coral and had no idea why. So pass it on to fellow reefers and LFS's.

So if there is copper in the carbon does that mean copper is in ur tank now? Cuz that would suck for ppl that planned or have a reef tank.

They claim that its in such small concentration that you can dilute it via water changes.....

I think that between this recall and the circumstantial link between using carbon & HLLE I would say screw buying carbon. You pay all this money for a pseudo scientific company to poison our tanks and they are only willing to reinburse our purchase price.... give me a break.

Ok, cucumber must have leached, because my flame angel and kole tang are going critical. Added poly filter, replaced carbon with chemipure, and did a 15 gallon water change. fingers crossed....
