Kessil 150 sky blue

Hey guys looking for some help I have 2 kessil 150s over my 29 bio cube and one has been flashing off and on and I'm pretty sure it's due to heat. I have bought canned air but they are a few years old and I don't think that's enough I was thinking of opening them up anyone ever do this? Just looking to see if anyone has I'd like to hear from ya let me know thanks and have a great da.


Oh yeah for my bio if I was to replace the lights and wanted to get nice color let me hear what you guys would use I don't want to break the bank.

I opened em up not much u can work on the bulb is non replaceable i bought one on here ended up being bad only half the diods worked fan maybe replacable if u can make or find one to fit i ended up just buying a whole new unit

right on i was just looking to clean them dont think the canned air through the little vent slots are doing the trick. and btw the new tank is looking good man glad to see you still here

Also check into zetlight za 1201-L light i have two of them one on my planted frog tank and one on my fuge. I obviously cant tell u how well they grow coral but they have a nice spectrum and my fuge area is about same size as u biocube and can say it will light it up bright as hell and u can program it to ramp up and down . I wanna say they like 50 or 60$ bulk reef supply sells them even. Worth looking into maybe research if people haveing suscess on reefs with em. Just looking at fuge i dont see why they wouldnt even grow some sps i can be wrong though lol nicely built sleek looking lights

Its a struggle lol but im working on it . They actually come apart easily mostly unscrew with out tools like a jar of nuts lol
