Hey guys so this is what has happend so far. im hopfully going to be getting a new 12 Gallon nano cube in about 2 weeks and my parents said that if i do that i neewd to get all of the other tanks out of my room. so what i did is that i combined the 2 tanks and put them in my 55!!!

so I only havew one lighting systemm right now and thats a zoo med 48 watt t5ho and i have almost all of my corals on top of my rocks. All of my rocks combined i have about 25lbs. (I know i need to get more but i gotta wait to reef plus opens on wensday cause i got a half day.) with all of my corals on top they are doing great.

For my filtration i have a whisper 60 and a penguin 200.. that should be enough right.

i also have a 3in sand bed

for circulation i have a aquaclear 30 on one side and a petco pump rated for a 75 gallon tank. Is it enough.

For my fish that i have in there. i have 3 clowns all about 1-1.5 inches. 1 algea blenny aboiut 3 inches. and a panther grouper 2.5 inches.( i plan to get rid of him in a short while cause i dont like him).

is there anyother fish that i can put in there cause i would like to put a tang in there of some sort.

I was thingking of buying a stary blenny. is that ok is there enough open area for the 2 to share.

Please put all of the feed back in here i need it and if you see anything wrong just let me know.
 
Definitely need more flow. Target goal is 25x display tank volume. But that's just a goal. The key is making sure you have movement all over the tank and the rock doesn't create dead spots.

If you have an algae blenny then no starry blenny. You can only have one.

You need to get rid of that grouper quick, cause they'll eat those clowns as soon as they fit in his mouth.

If you're looking for lighting, I still have one of my LED fixtures left, PM if you're interested.
 
I'd say try the two blennies, worst case they don't get along. I haven't personally ever had aggression issues with multiple blennies other than the normal new guy hazing for a few days until they settle in.
 
Regardless of you "not liking" the Panther Grouper, you have a fish that gets to be 1' 8" and requires a 300gal tank ... in a 55gal that wiil eat and fish/inverts it can fit in its mouth - Its going to out grow that tank QUICKLY.

ok im going to try to convince my dad to let me get him and he looks so cool. thanks for the input
 
Soundss good but u need more flow and i can't believe someone else hasn't mentioned this clowns can only be kept on pairs. 3 will fight

ya i have had him for 2 months ina 20 gallon reef and hes alright. i couldnt find someone to buy him. so im just going to adopt him out to petco.
 
He clearly stated he would get rid of the grouper in a short while cause he doesn't like it anyways. I'm sure if his other fish don't fit in its mouth they will be safe until he re-homes the grouper in the near future. It's not going to double in size overnight.

I kept 3 clowns perfectly fine in my reef. I wouldn't put 2 pairs of clowns in a small tank like the 55.

they have been kept together for a while before and now they are fine together. no fighting at all

I had 3 in my 14g biocube, 3 in my 60g cube that later moved into the 180. IMO trios of the same species seem to do just fine added together or while still not bonded pairs.
 
Update i got the starry blennie and hes amazing. so far no fights and he blend in with the rocks real well

im getting my phone fixed tomorrow and i can upload pics then. the acans doin great if you ask me they have gotten bigger and have a little head growning on one side.

What type of acan is it agian? thanks
 
well bad news my phone is still broken and cant find the warrenty that we got for it. do you think that they should have that on file or no
