I don't know how to link it...let me try...there is a comparison between 1w led and 2w led..I email the store to them about this..they not answer me yet...2w led is brighter...
not like this on in the pic..

If you can get information on the power chips used in the led fixture we can help you determine if they are good for use on a reef tank, being a cheap fixture on eBay I would be very skeptical, lighting is one thing that really shouldn't be skimped on just to save a buck. Buy a nice used system from another local to save money.

Looks like no dimming feature, that would be my first cause of concern, because if those led's are decently spectrum'd that is a ton of light for that size tank. The price is also a concern, even using chinese leds bought wholesale, plus drivers etc, it seems like all the parts are cheap...but i would def get the power chip information as well as the drivers.

I think for myself the inability to dim it would turn me off, I would prob be more likely to go the t5 route.

regarding your lighitng scheduale... you can run yours whatever time you want so that you can take advantage of viewing your tank. If you work during the day and are up at night then have them run the. My lights turn on from 12-10pm. I have a t5/MH combo so I simulate sunrise/sunset for the first and last hours of the photoperiod.
