Lightning clownfish

I thought lightning clownfish were really expensive. Petco has them for $30. Did I miss something?

do they know its's a lightning maroon? also are you sure that's a maroon? it could be a broken stripe ocellaris

All good questions. I have no clue. Just saw it and the price and was thinking they are usually way more.

The price is dropping rapidly for low grade fish versions. Ora started selling them so the supply is increasing thus the price goes down. Petco gets a lot of the fish from ora from what I understand.

Makes sense. I vaguely recall seeing $199 to $299 price tags on these in the past

Just saw sustainable has them as well. Price should come crashing down with all those fish now available
