Looking for help in DIY Canopy

With my new lights coming, I'm considering building a canopy since heat isn't going to be a big issue anymore, and build my lights into it. Not to make a direct steal on any other ideas, but does anyone have a good place to start looking? It's for a 55 gallon standard, so 48 1/2" x 13" is the tank size.

not sure if you are on the other site, but there was a reefer giving away a free 55g stand and canopy. He posted this am and had a couple people in line for pickup. You might want to get yourself in line just in case.
