ReefCrystals is great for a budget salt IMO. While I never had any big problems with it, I got a lot of slime in my buckets from it. Clay would be a better description. Over they years my boxes seem to have gotten worse, or it would happen more often. I've only used Salinity once thus far and it sees to work great.

RC also sometimes took forever to dissolve and always seemed to leave some left.

for a thread sharing a low priced salt deal. Salt brand discussions are always opinion based, each has it's own strengths. RC holds it's own against the other brands.
