Low strontium

I tested for strontium tonight and the salifert test kit showed around 1-3 which is pretty low. I know it can be poisonous at high levels. What do you recommend? I'm running kalkwasser and BRS 2 part Ca/Alk/Mg..good stuff.

Ca anywhere from 370 - 430 depending on test kit

Ok..so live aquaria .com says that the welso/trachaphlia need this trace element. And mine is constantly small it used to look like this all the time.

Just wondering if strontium would be the issue.

I guess I'm nobody...I don't test so I don't dose much, but it's part of the Kent stuff I do dose

I remember Ron Shimek speaking at one of our meetings about this & how at one time, reefers thought they needed to start dosing this & their tanks started having problems & not to dose it.

i might be wrong but i thought i read that stontium was in the water because of all the nuclear bomb testing in the world. i would just do a water change to replenish these trace elemenets, Which are if im not wrong, impurities from the chemicals used to make SW mix.
