Im starting to think that my mag 12 pondmaster pump is not enough to power my return to my 210g tank with 75g sump. My overflow boxes are only like 3 inches full, is this normal? Or should I get a more powerful pump???
 
I have a 210 stock tank with a standard 75 gallon tank as well I used to run a mag drive 24 & a mag drive 18 but had to dial back all the way almost lb the 18 so I pulled it and went with the 24 and instead of splitting the return into four ways I did 2 this have better flow but it will work with splitting four ways as well good luck I'm surprised your not over flowing your sump what size pipe or hose did you use for your drains and do you have one or two drains
 
Thank you lunacris ! I have 2 drains both with 1 inch hose and tubing. my return is split two ways off the mag 12 up to 4 loc line returns (2 Y's )... Im definitly not even coming close to overflowing the sump.
