Hi everyone
I am starting to put together my dosing pump system I have my measurements to mix calcium and alkalinity per 1 gallon but can not find how much magnesium to make a 1 gallon mixture. I currently have seachem advantage magnesium.
You will need to do some math for the container size vs demand vs dosing amount though. There are easier products to work with IMO.
BEGINNER: Use 5 g (1 level teaspoon) per 80 L (20 gallons*) twice a week. Dissolve in at least 250 mL (1 cup*) of freshwater. ADVANCED: Check magnesium level, then follow addition regimen above until magnesium is adjusted to 1200–1350 mg/L. Each 5 g/80 L will raise magnesium by about 5 mg/L. Amount or frequency can be adjusted, but do not exceed 25 g/80 L per day
Brs has two ways if mixing last time i checked and made my own . One way i believe was for doseing the other was more cincentrated for just dumping in every once in while. I ended up just getting tech m easier and not much more if i recall
