Magnesium Test Kit

What are you using to test for Mag?

My red sea Mag test is very old and reading levels off the chart, which doesn't seem right as I am not dosing for mag. (Im sure the test has expired)

I am using Hanna checkers for calcium and alkalinity. Any recommendations on best test kits for mag?

I have had good luck with the Elos kits. I can't say they are better than others, but the tests seem very accurate.

I use Red Sea. Get new reagents. I have used Elos, liked them too.

I have Salifert. Nothing to compare to but seems fine

Red sea kits only have 2yr life span at best says red sea. I us salifert now. And easier test and easily repeated imo

Red Sea Mg kit is one of the least accurate hobby grade kits on the market. I threw out my reagents and use the titration kit and vial with my salifert kit.
