So I have a 72g bowfront....I had 3 clownfish, 1 yellow clown goby, 2 watchman goby, 1 blue neon goby, and 1 powder tang. Also thia is a mixed reef setup.

So about 1.5wks ago I lost the yellow clown goby it died. Then about 3 days later one of my clowns died.

Ive been watching them and now I see one of my clowns has a black patch/mark on its right side right behind first white line. I have attached the best pic I could get with my phone.

It has stopped eating n just chilling on the top left of the tank. So im just checking to see if anyone has seen this n has a remedy.

I learned about clownfish behavior as signs of something. It is a rare thing to get but most of the signs are there. I told him what to look for to see. I hope I am just jumping the gun, but you never know.
Jay do you happen to know what it is ??

Dammot when ever I hear fish deaths like this Isopods come to my mind :( hopefully that's not the Cause here

Did the other fish that died have black marks as well?

I did some googling and am wondering if its ammonia burns?

No the other one that died didn't have any black marks, thought it was chilling at lot at the bottom of the tank within the last day before it died.

the clown Goby was eating and swimming around and then I just found it dead in the middle of the tank on some rocks next to some zoas.

I have checked Ammonia levels and they were fine, I will be checking them again tomorrow.

Can you send that to me also

Thanks :)

Well wanted to give an updates, I've search for what FROSTJAY told me but I haven't found anything, he is eating a little not as much as before, but he is still alive, he still does just stay on one side of the tank though until today that I seen him on the other side.

I'll let everyone know if anything changes or anything.

Thanks again for the help.

Get a hold of mitch @Booyah's!!!! This sounds like something he told me about when clowns stay at the top of the water!!!

What's the name of the disease/infection you guys are referring too ?
I've ran into similar problems with clowns and other fish... most were fine after I went thru
several treatments for every known infections out there... Looking to zero in so I'm/we are not treating
a fish for something it doesn't have.
