I received my angelfish about 12 days ago and he is being very difficult with his feedings. I got home from live aquaria and had all the food they said they were feeding him at home waiting for his arrival. Once I got him it seems like he's just not hungry or won't let me watch him eat. He turns away from spiriinula shrimp, gel food, mysis shrimp, and I haven't seen him eat much seaweed or algae strips that I put in the tank. He still looks healthy and is very active, but I haven't physically seen him eat. I leave the seaweed strips in tank for awhile so he might eat when I'm not around....I was just looking for some input or other people experience. I was posting this before contacting live aquaria to inquire about feedings and such.
 
I have success with cyclopeeze with picky eaters. I had fish not eat for days, and after a few days on cyclopeeze they scarf down everything.

Rods is also good because it is a mix.
I have had many fish refuse mysis and other shrimp at first.
