Metal Halide Ballast

I just picked up a 72" fixture with 3) 250's
It has magnetic ballasts, one double, one single
Would it be worth my while to change out the ballast for electronic ballasts?
What would be pros and cons?

Pro is longer ballast life and easier starts for the bulbs.Con is the cost.

Does it make any difference in bulb life, electrical usage, radio interference, bulb performance

Different bulbs require different ballast type to run properly.
