What do you guys think of running this on a 220, 72 x 24 x30

I think it workout great. I'm a fan of leds but mh and t5 is tried and true. Besides if you went say radions for leds you'd need 3 at roughly $750 each for the new ones. There are plenty of beautiful tanks running those lights.

I just bought one of these for my breeder. Love it. Only been in the hobby a year, and went LED first, but felt like I needed to try the gold standard. Increased polyp extension was noticeable immediately, and now that my corals are getting used to the light, they are starting to take off.

Only thing to note is the ballast. Its an ANSA m58, so you can't run a lot of the favorite bulbs out there like Radiums or Phoenix 14k unless you upgrade the ballast. I ended up doing that. But overall its a good looking fixture and does the job. Heavy though!

How much was the ballast upgrade? Have a link for it?

i would call reefgeek cuz the ballast u need is an option on hamilton website but bet u can get it from them also
