Monti vs. Finger Leather

I have a big finger leather that has basically shrunk and hasn't extended in a couple of weeks. Everything else in the tank is thriving and the param's are stable and excellent. The only thing I can think of is that it had been in contact with my red monti cap (it grew up against the leather).
Anyone have any experience with this happening?

It's just being the temperamental leather they are known to be. Be sure there is plenty of flow it's way. Don't worry, in a few days it'll shed it's skin & perk up again.
