Anyone know of a guy who fixes ecotech vortech?
I got 2 used ones and having issues with both, hoping to get a tune up of some sort.

Thanks in advance
BJ

It slides down on the glass. The other module won't turn on, I'm sure I may need to do some maintenance or upgrades, would rather pay someone to do it as I'm not tech savvy at all.

You have to set them for the thickness of the glass.

It sounds like it's set for very thin glass.
The dry side comes apart by hand and you can put it back together in a few different orientations. By adjusting you are moving the magnet closer or further away. The closer the dry side and wet side are together, the stronger the pull on each other and should hold it tight. I live down the road in Huntley and give you a hand, if you like.

Regarding the "won't turn on" problem, I have no clue.
Like other's have said, you can always call ecotech, they have top notch customer service.

You guys are awesome, I would love some help in setting up the magnet properly. I'll try messing with it one more time tomorrow morning but if I can't get it, I would like to reach to you.
Please pm me cell phone or shoot me a txt when you get a moment in case I need to reach out to you.

As said the dry side needs top be set to the thickness of the glass. Once set you have to center both sides. I also suggest you get wire/cable management so you can secure the dry side.

As for the one no powering on. There's error codes with the color of the led drive unit. Does it flash colors solid color? Once we figure out what error your receiving we can trouble shoot. You might have to reset the dry side if it's locked on the wet side stall.

Or, are you not getting any power? Getting a red flashing led. Then it can mean your power supply brick went bad. Try powering the driver in question with the one that's sliding of the glass, If it powers on and you can reset it then your supply is bad.

Look at the power supply brick. There's a green led it might be bad if it's not fully lit up.
I had to replace a power supply after a power loss.
