MP40w es issue?

so i finally spent the monies and picked up a used mp40w es from a fellow reefer(looks very well taken care of). after reading the manual, i attempted to program the mp40 to short pulse mode. it saves the wave i set for about 15-20 sec and then switches to Random (reef crest or lagoon, not sure) and then will no longer accept any inputs on the driver. after i have to unplug the driver in order to do ANYTHING.
help please

I read it wrong sorry have you tried resetting it

if that doesnt work. get ahold of ecotech. they have great customer service

THANK YOU! resetting it worked i didnt know they held previous programmings after being unplugged lol
