My 55 Bow front corner

I started up a Reef tank in late December and within a few weeks I had pretty much filled it to the max with live rock and frags. I Liked the fact that my nano tank was in my room close to my bed but It didnt take long to relize it was way to small.

So I did what any sane person would do! I started a bigger tank on the other side of my bed and what better fit but a corner unit bow front tank...

I started the tank up mid to late January and let it cycle for almost a month. In the meen time I purchased some fiji dry rock and decided to try my hand at carving some caves into them (Fun stuff I recomend everyone have a go at it) sadly I didnt take pictures before but they where just big ugly rocks to start with.

Anywho my nano tank started to act funny and I lost several chalices so I decided to go ahead and just toss all my corals and some of the live rock into the new build last night.

The live rock is from the nano tank I still need to work with it but here is some pics.

For an idea of the size of the rocks the big rock in the center weighed about 14 lbs dry.

Looks good. How deep is the sand bed ?

I only did about a 1 inch sand bed Hopefuly I dont regret it. The tank has so much current cuz the bowfront I aleady have pools around all my rocks and corals so im kind of glad I didnt go with a deep sand bed.
