Added some pictures

I hope to pick up 2x power heads Wednesday

Local place "Hobbyland" if anyone knows of it, is going out of buisness. Prices are pretty good, 50% off everything. Prices were rasied to make the difference but there are some good deals still.

I picked up that sump and mag7 for 100.00

Sump is installed. Pictures soon.
Need to add another powerhead I picked up yet.
RO/DI unit comes tomorrow, cannot wait to hook that up. Have a neat idea ready for that.

Need to make or buy a frag rack for the monti frags I won over at 1reef.com

I need to pick up a clip on light and few other things for my refuge

My post is popular.

Replaced 2 bulbs. Got a coral plus and purple plus now.

So my light goes

Purple plus (closest to front of tank)
Actinic stock
Coral plus
Actinic stock

should i keep the stock bulbs or change those out as well?

Makes the hammer coral POP

picked up a frag rack as well, figured i'd have a few frags in this tank for now til i can build my 20g Long frag tank.
(still need to find a light for that)

I'd return the coral+ and get a KZ 14000k daylight instead. Between all that actinic and purple plus, the last thing you need is more pink/purple from the coral+. Also, just add 1 blue+ in place of a stock actinic. Run the blue+ and actinic as your am/pm, and the daylight and purple+ as your daytime bulbs.

Interesting. I still have a 10k stock bulb.
I have never seen the 14k one.
Ok ill pick up a blue+ as well.

Does it matter on placement? Which bulb first?
Thanks

What hour combination do you run your lights?

Do you guys just glue your hammer coral down? Is there a certain way to put it? Seems most it in the sand bed.

I have mine on the sand bed with about 20+ heads... Use to have it on the rocks and just got to big, had to make room for more corals :thumb:

I do think I can put it in the sandbed. Too much current. Maybe I can move some stuff around. I'll have to glue it to something in order to get it to stand upright in the sand bed
