my first time drilling my tank am i screwed

hi guys just had my first drilling experience first whole went well for my return now my overflow whole.... not so well. i got all the way through and noticed slight chips on the inside of the tank.... any help would be appreciated am i in trouble?View attachment 10946View attachment 10947

I've had slight chips, maybe not as big as yours, but close on many drilled holes. They've never generated any trouble. If the holes are at the bottom of a panel or tank bottom of a deep tank, there'd be more stress and possibly a larger risk.

you should be fine with those chips....the integrity of the panel is good....if it was a crack you'd be screwed.....

lol ya they are on the back of the tank . does the gasket go on th einside or outside also should i buy another gasket and have one inside and outside for a peice of mind?

As long as the inside gasket covers all the chips. You are good.

The bulkhead should've came with a gasket.

you dont need one on the outside. First and only time I drilled a tank it looked just like that and its been fine for months. *fingers crossed*
