My fish came today

Got all my new fish today 8" lion, 14" snowflake,4" harliquin tusk,2" valentini puffer, and a stars a stryps puffer everyone happy.
 
Nice fish, but you're not worried about the puffers nipping the lion to death? Or fighting with each other? Don't know, I'd be worried, but I hope it works out well for you! They are beautiful fish, so I can well understand wanting them all!
 
Im assuming, since he got them from the same seller, that they all came from the same tank. I hope he has a tank big enough or they will be aggressive with each other
 
For how many years? Puffers can live into their late teens/20s. The valentini is definitely in trouble.

I was at a customer's home with 3 lionfish & a porcpuff. HUGE 1000g tank. That porc had stinging scars all over it's body. :(

I think it comes down to the law of averages essentially. The normal experience for most is that lions and puffers are pretty far from bffs. But, as we all know, fish all have their own personalities, so you can get the anomaly. I would say its probably better practice to plan around what normally occurs rather than hoping that you get the rare pair that just hit it off right. Fish also have that strange tendency to snap it seems, so what may have worked for 5 years, may change one day when they wake up on the wrong side of the tank so to speak!

Like I said before, I do hope this works out well, but I would be worried if it were my tank.

thanks friends. as far as size limit im not too worried about that i'll just build or buy a bigger tank there's allways room for expantion.
 
Heres a pic of the tank at my work. Got a couple huge puffers, huge Volitan, niger trigger and some tangs. Been peaceful together for years. But as u can see, they are extremely fat and well fed, which keeps aggression down
