This guy is too cool to pass. Shimmers gold. I like him better than a gold flake. He's going in my FOWLER tank, because hell nip corals.
I got him from Hidden Reefs for only $60. They give you wholesale prices on fish there.
The owner explained to me that gold flakes are more expensive because their territories are usually considered illegal to collect livestock so divers have to wait till they cross some kind of border before they can catch them. But for me flag fins have more gold than gold flakes and look nicer and a lot cheaper.

Yeah. I think the only difference is glodflakes has black dorsal/bottom fins. The shimmering gold is the same and the flagfin has more gold and less black. They are the same size. Its just that goldflakes live in restricted waters, which explains the price
