my really diy led's under 25 dollars with tax...

Here's the 10g tank,it has a total of 150leds,there are 6individual ''strips'' from lowes. My friend works there so i got the whole sebang for $20.I know nothing special but it's a QT tank,so who cares:

*Edit* It's only been 5months,so i don't know that it qualifies as long term.

Looks pretty good. Was there a wattage or kelvin rating on the packaging? Were they sold in different colors?

Looks great Gus. The coral look happy as can be. Even have a bta in there! It looks like it's doing it's job.

No wattage stated or color, just under cabinetry led lighting.I can go take pics of the packages and you guys can try them out in a fuge or something?

I'm just looking to use them on a desktop pico tank with pom pom xenia and GSP.

I used velcro tabs so i could move things if i need to and add more lights if it seemed like it was needed. It's all hidden anyways! I hope my fish aren't judging me for it for being diy and velcro'd together...allows me to buy more things for them to swing through.

What was the actual name of the leds? I was at lowes but didn't see anything under $40. I just setup a 125 and wouldn't mind trying your idea on the fuge.
