My rimless 28gal JBJ

A few day ago I upgraded my 15gal aio to a 28gal JBJ that I made rimless.

- about 20lbs live rock
- 40lbs live sand
- both returns upgraded to Maxi jet 1200s
- Reef Octopus Ns-80 Skimmer
- Aqua Illumination nano sol w/ controller
- bonded filter pads
- 100w heater

Coral

- Bam bam zoas

- Rainbow acan echinata

- radioactive dragon eye zoas

Fish & Inverts

- pair of wild caught true perc clowns
- cleaner shrimp
- 10 nasarius snails
- 5 cerith snails
- 15 hermit crabs
- 5 astrea snails

Love the way it looks but would be too terrified to pull the rim off a NanoCube! That glass is so thin! Keep up the good work though, looks fantastic!

I researched it a lot before doing it. From what I found no one had problems with taking the rim off, so I went for it! I used a dremel to cut the rim into small sections then used a razor to cut the silicone, and finally a small screwdriver to gently pry up the pieces.

I love how it looks rimless!
