I need to make 2 18in-ish long led strips to mount to my light fixture for atinic supplement only needs to be wide enough to mount the leds and have some protection from the water as my light gets splashed already. Let me know some ideas guys

Cut this in half (they are out of the 18"):

use code MDAY2014 for 14% off through memorial day.

You can spray them down with LED Seal to waterproof or even just paint the stars (not the primary optic) with clear nail polish. Could also easily drill/tap four holes in the heat sink and use a piece of acrylic with .5" aluminum spacers as a splash shield.

I just used aluminum angle iron on my recent strip build. The LEDs aren't all clustered together so it dissipates heat fine.
