Need Help With water

Looking for some advice on my RO/DI setup for my tank that I am having problems with. The system is originally a AWI Typhoon III system. I noticed that my water was way up in TDS so last week on Thursday I replaced ALL filters, Membrane and new DI fro BRS. I also added a prefilter (inline) for sediment. The membrane was flushed for about a hour and then it started making water. the water going in was 120 ppm going in and 0 ppm coming out! PERFECT!! I was excited to see clean water for the tank again. That was 1 pm last Thursday..........

Well today I go down to look at the system and check it only to see my TDS is up to 12 ppm!!!! I took the canister out of the DI and looked at it and it is all brown already! So it looks like the DI is exhausted after 5 1/2 days!!! The DI was packed in just like the video shows on how to load the cartridge. I know our well water is not the best but what gives????
Why would this happen so fast? i didnt think 112 ppm going in was terribly bad that it would exhaust the DI that fast! Especially with all new filters, sediment, carbon block, membrane.... the whole 9 yards.
Suggestions? This is kind of frustrating..... Thanks in advance.

I'm on well water as well but I can't believe that the DI quit after only 5 1/2 days I usually get at least 30 - 45 days worth of use. Also 12 ppm is not the end of the world. I'm going to have to think about this one for a while.
