So I have/had an awesome neon candy cane that was always beautifully inflated and healthy. 3 days ago it did not look good and today I see pieces of it just falling off. This is a piece that was part of my tank startup back 2 years ago. This is at least a 20 head piece. I am going to pull it today as it is obviously a goner. Nothing has changed in the tank in a LONG time. Stable two year old tank. Params are stable. I religiously do a 5 gallon water change weekly. When I say nothing has changed in a long time I truly mean nothing added/changed in at least 6 months. I have many different corals from zoas to sps and nothing else seems to be affected.
Just crazy that something would go from thriving to dying so friggin' quickly is crazy.
