Neptune released details of a new apex controller today. I think there are going to be a lot of unhappy customers and a lot of people jumping ship to Vertex or Tunze with the lack of backward compatibility of the new energy bar. They hinted at different fusion interfaces with more options for the new controller too.
Summary:
Apex gold discontinued, existing non-gold units being renamed Apex Classic - MSRP $549.95
New Apex package includes wifi based controller unit with integrated PM2, EB832, no display module - MSRP $799.95
New EB832 with 1Link integrated and all relay outlets, will not work with Apex Classic
New display module, not included with new base apex as noted
New 1Link solenoid accessory
New 1Link pump accessory (ATO use, etc)
New module wall mounting system, no more bracket screws on the module itself
New, cheaper probes for ORP/PH
New iOS app coming, android later
Updates to webserver and fusion functionality, reminder notes, etc.
