NEW CORALS from MIMF!

Some new corals are coming from our mariculture farm in the Marshall Islands! There's something for every type of aquarist, from the entry level reef keeper to the advanced SPS collector!

For those just getting their feet wet with corals, try out both the Fuzzy Lobo and Sinularia! Covered in feathery soft polyps, these aquarium tough corals can add lots of movement and some great vertical aesthetics to your reef structure.

For those SPS collectors, we have some new pieces available for your collection: the Neon Green Granulosa and Melonberry Montipora! The Granulosa has a lumpy appearance but absolutely GLOWS under actinic lighting. Our Melonberry Monti is canary yellow with electric blue polyps. This is a plating coral, growing outwards in thick, horizontal layers.

Pretty cool to see a true yellow coral, have you experimented with differtn lights to see if the yellow stays?

We have had Melonberry under 20k and 10k halides. Under 10k the yellow is very bright, under 20k it can shift to hues of green with new growth retaining the yellow.

Ditto! Melonberry looks like a winner!

I am curious about growth rate...is it slow, moderate or fast?

I dont believe this is a very fast growing Montipora species, but we also dont have them in our systems here at ORA long enough to really see any dramatic growth. Let us know!

That lemon berry monti looks exactly like the what we call "la lakers monti"
