New Fish! ... now what?

So, I recently (today) picked up some beautiful fish to start quarantining, since it is about 6 weeks until my tank will be out of its quarantine, so I figured I would start a fish QT to coincide. I'm very happy with my purchase (African exquisite wrasse, melanarus wrasse, lyretail anthias, and an Allen's damsel), but have some questions regarding the whole QT process.

I had originally intended on giving them all a freshwater methelyne blue dip following these instructions. All was going fine until it said to add 4ml per gallon of M.Blue - this made the dip a dark blue color, and I could not see half way down the bucket. Needless to say, this bothered me enough to skip the dip entirely - so the fish went from drip acclimation right into the QT tank.

Questions:
1) How blue should the methylene blue freshwater dip/bath be? I hear people say x number of drops, but this means little to me, given I have no idea which syringe to use, and more importantly, have no idea how concentrated the dip in question is. So how much should I be using?

2) Given that I skipped the dip, what should I do now? Should I catch the fish and dip them tomorrow? Or in a week? Or not bother with a dip at all?

Regarding the QT itself, I intend on treating for ich and parasites. Is there a particular order that would be preferred? How long in between treatments before starting the next medical cycle?

Thank you for helping this noob out!

I use prazipro first. Wait five days then do a wc. I wait a day and start rid-ich plus for 3 consecutive days with a wc in between doses.
If I suspect the fish may have something I follow this up with metro as directed. If I know the fish has ich I use cupramine (copper) as directed.
Works for me.

And don't forget, no carbon during treatments. I use for a day in between different meds and after all treatments are done.
