The Fluval Eco Nano light is more than you need if its just for growing some chaeto, it puts out about 250PAR 9k at the top of the water column, but I'm using kinda like a frag tank light.
I can now move frags (and ugly plugs) out of the DT. Plus my RBTA splits every so often and need more light then a CFL. It will work as a place to nurse any struggling corals. And I recently picked up some flame macro algae and red grape macro algae, which my tang would make quick work of if I put it all at once into the DT. So, for $50 it was a good fit for my needs...and is now plugged into my APEX for time control.
Fish room is not really organized for show, but you can see the newly added FLuval Eco Nano over the center section of my sump.
